March 19, 2018
CBRE announced it hired Ian Britton as managing director, heading its Ontario office.
Britton, who focuses on industrial investments and tenant representation, is coming back to CBRE, where he spent 12 years from 1999 to 2011. Most recently, Britton served as managing director of Voit Real Estate Services' Anaheim, Ontario and South Bay Los Angeles offices. His primary responsibilities included recruiting, business development and training, along with running the firm's industrial practice.
Prior to joining Voit, Britton served as senior vice president for Colliers International's Irvine office, where he focused on the North Orange County industrial sub market, specializing in tenant/buyer representation and landlord representation assignments.
“Ian is filling an important position in our region, following our Ontario Managing Director Joe Cesta's recent promotion to lead the Capital Markets Associate Program,” said Kurt Strasmann, executive managing director of CBRE’s Orange County and Inland Empire Operations. “We are very excited Ian will be helping us lead our highly successful Ontario office and professionals there.”
