Professional Experience

As a Senior Manager with CBRE’s Workplace Strategy team, Lauren provides strategic oversight for workplace well-being strategy development and manages LEED, WELL and Fitwel certification projects from inception to completion.

Working with the project team and owners, Lauren assesses the feasibility and cost impact of certification, establishes project goals and acts as a liaison between the Green Business Certification Institute and/or Center for Active Design and the project team. Her background in workplace well-being, project management, and sustainable design allow her to successfully manage the certification process, ensuring occupant well-being and environmental sustainability goals are achieved within the project schedule and budget.

Lauren has over fifteen years of experience as a leader in sustainable program development, workplace well-being and project management. Prior to joining CBRE, she was the Acting Deputy Sustainability Director for the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she facilitated the development and launch of the Fitwel rating system. She also served as the key program director for the Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge, an initiative directed by the US Department of Energy encouraging property owners in the central business district to reduce energy and water consumption in commercial buildings.
