CBRE in Reno Honored by Summit Awards Northern Nevada

Summit Awards Northern Nevada recently announced that CBRE’s David Woods and Matt Grimes were named Office Brokers of the Year for 2019, and CBRE’s Aiman Noursoultanova was named Investment Properties Broker of the Year. Additionally, CBRE’s Reno office was named top brokerage house by total transactions, and CBRE’s Eric Bennett, Daniel Buhrmann and Greg Shutt were awarded the Largest Sale in 2019 for their transaction at 8800 Military Road in Reno.

Mr. Woods, CCIM, a First Vice President with CBRE, engages in all aspects of the leasing and sales of office properties in Northern Nevada. He is a third generation Nevadan who graduated from University of Nevada, Reno. He is active in the community as a member of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN), a 13-year member and former President of the Reno Professionals Chapter (BNI).
Mr. Grimes, also a First Vice President with CBRE, specializes in office leasing and sales activities in the Northern Nevada region, leading some of Reno’s most notable lease and sale transactions. He has been instrumental in transactions with both owners and tenants, often involving the region’s largest institutional owners and employers including NV Energy, McKenzie Properties, NevDex Properties, CAI Capital, Incline Capital Group, Fenway Capital and Washington Capital.
For over 20 years, Ms. Noursoultanova, CCIM, has represented Northern Nevada owners and investors in the acquisition and disposition of commercial investment properties. As the Senior Vice President of the Reno Investment Properties Group, Ms. Noursoultanova has successfully completed over $1.5 billion in transactions, and has consistently been a top producer in the CBRE Reno office. She has had a hand in some of the largest and most iconic deals that Northern Nevada has witnessed, including the Sterling Summit sale, the largest multifamily sale in the history of the market; the Saint Mary’s Center for Health, the largest office transaction in Reno in the past decade; and the former Park Lane Mall, which is currently being redeveloped as a new, master-planned mixed use community. Ms. Noursoultanova is a current and founding board member, as well as a past President of CREW of Northern Nevada. She is also an active member, past board member, and past President of CCIM of Northern Nevada. She has presented at multiple local events and conducted guest lectures at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Mr. Bennett has been a member of the CBRE’s industrial services group in Reno since 1999, remaining focused on the leasing needs of local and institutional investors as well as occupiers. He has significant ground-up speculative and build-to-suit development experience throughout Northern Nevada and has routinely been a top producer in the Reno office.
Also a member of the CBRE’s industrial services group in Reno, Mr. Buhrmann specializes in the leasing and sale of industrial properties, industrial land sales and build-to-suit development. He brings extensive experience to the table from landlord and occupier representation, investment sale and owner-user sale capacity.
Mr. Shutt is a Senior Vice President in CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services group, specializing in industrial properties alongside Mr. Bennett and Mr. Buhrmann. Currently focusing on institutional landlord representation, he has been responsible for leasing millions of square feet of warehousing, distribution and manufacturing facilities in the Northern Nevada area. He has been involved with build-to-suit developments, building and land sales and purchases as well as investment sales.
