- CBRE Korea Provides Meals and Donations to Purchase Winter Goods for the Elderly

November 29, 2023 (Seoul, Korea) – Volunteer employees from CBRE Korea, a global commercial real estate services company, provided meals on November 27 and 28 at the Seoul Senior Welfare Center in Jongno-gu as part of its CBRE Cares social contribution campaign. The initiative, undertaken by CBRE offices worldwide, aims to support local communities.

Forty CBRE Korea executives and employees volunteered their time to serve meals to the elderly at the Seoul Senior Welfare Center. They spent quality time with the center’s visitors, assisting with the meal service, leftovers and dishwashing. Additionally, they handed over KRW 8 million raised through an in-company donation campaign to be used for winter essentials for senior visitors.

Don Lim, Managing Director of CBRE Korea, stated, "Despite the short two-day engagement, this was a meaningful opportunity to bring warmth to those in need during the cold weather. CBRE Korea remains committed to a variety of sharing activities that contribute to our coexistence with local communities, in alignment with the CBRE Cares initiative."

CBRE Korea conducts volunteer activities for the local community every November through the CBRE Cares campaign. This initiative represents CBRE's investment in local communities and its commitment to volunteering programs that support vulnerable groups through local community engagement, volunteer activities, climate change response plans and community-focused programs.
