Focus on discovering offline business opportunities and promoting medical tourism through cross-industry collaboration

November 11, 2024 (Seoul) – CBRE Korea, the world’s largest commercial real estate services company, announced on the 11th that it has signed an MOU with Healing Paper to explore offline business opportunities in the medical commercial real estate sector and to promote inbound medical tourism.

Through this agreement, CBRE Korea and Healing Paper, which operates the medical beauty platform 'Gangnam Unni,' aim to create synergy by developing a variety of offline business opportunities, leveraging CBRE Korea's specialized commercial real estate services for the medical sector and Healing Paper's expansive medical beauty information platform. In particular, the agreement between CBRE Korea, which provides medical-specific retail services and global network-based commercial real estate services, and Healing Paper, which operates a medical beauty information platform as well as the 'UNNI' global app for attracting foreign patients related to skin and plastic surgery, will boost the medical tourism business in Korea for the global market.

The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Don Lim, CEO of CBRE Korea; Ryan Kim, Head of Retail, Advisory & Transaction Services; Mark Do, Director of Medical Commercial Real Estate Services; and key representatives from Healing Paper.

In 2019, it successfully entered the Japanese market and last year launched its global app ‘Unni (UNNI)’ to attract foreign patients actively.

Seung-il Hong, CEO of Healing Paper, stated, “This MOU marks a new turning point in the development of medical tourism. Through our partnership with CBRE Korea, we will continue to work together to help Korean K-beauty medical services shine in the global medical market.”
